Very. The City's neighbourhood profile counted 115 residents in 1996 and just 155 in 2006, when this was still farmland on the city's northwest edge. By 2011 there were 850 people, and by 2016 there were 2,820 living in 935 occupied homes, up from 285 homes five years earlier.
Those homes were about 80% single-detached and 20% row houses, with no apartment buildings counted, and 92% were owner-occupied. The median age was 32.2 and almost a third of residents were 19 or younger.
A few older farmhouses along Sunningdale Road West are the only reminders of what came before. The City's heritage register lists a Georgian house from about 1850 at 1035 Sunningdale Road West and two more houses from the 1870s farther west on the same road.
The City's NeighbourGood site calls the resident-defined neighbourhood here Foxfield, a subdivision in the northwest corner of the city with Snake Creek running through it. Streets include Buroak Drive, Tokala Trail, Foxwood Avenue, Silverfox Drive, Foxcreek Road, Applerock Avenue, Saddlerock Avenue, Wateroak Drive, Twilite Boulevard and Medway Park Drive, among many others.
Next door, Hyde Park sits south of Fanshawe Park Road West, and Sunningdale lies across Wonderland Road North. Compare Fox Hollow's row houses with townhouses for sale across London to see where it fits.
Two schools sit inside the planning district: the Thames Valley District School Board's Sir Arthur Currie Public School at 2435 Buroak Drive, and the London District Catholic School Board's Saint André Bessette Catholic Secondary School at 2727 Tokala Trail. NeighbourGood also places the Family Centre Fox Hollow in the Foxfield neighbourhood.
Growing subdivisions see boundary changes, so confirm the school for any address with the TVDSB school locator and the LDCSB school finder before you firm up an offer.
Foxfield District Park at 2384 Buroak Drive is the main park, and the neighbourhood also has Foxhollow Park, Kent Park, Vista Woods Park, Water Oak Park, Tokala Woods, Foxfield Woods and the Snake Creek walkways that follow the creek through the subdivision. NeighbourGood also points to the Medway Valley Heritage Forest and the Museum of Ontario Archaeology, both reachable from the area; the museum sits just east in the Medway district.
The Foxhollow section of Mount Pleasant Cemetery is at 2631 Hyde Park Road, inside the district.
NeighbourGood names two commercial areas: the corner of Fanshawe Park and Wonderland roads, with a grocery store, restaurants, a cafe and retail, and the Hyde Park shopping area at Fanshawe Park and Hyde Park roads. Part of the Hyde Park Business Improvement Area reaches north of Fanshawe Park Road West into Fox Hollow.
London Transit buses run along Fanshawe Park Road West at the district's south edge; check LTC for routes and times. As the crow flies, Saint André Bessette is about 4.2 km from CF Masonville Place and about 5.4 km from Western University's main campus.
Most listings here are recent builds, so the checklist is about warranties and land:

Foxfield is the resident-defined neighbourhood on the City's NeighbourGood site; it sits inside the larger Fox Hollow planning district, and our Fox Hollow listings cover that whole district.
The 2016 Census counted no apartment buildings in the district: homes were about 80% single-detached and 20% row houses. If you want something smaller than a detached house here, the townhouses are where to look.
London Transit buses run along Fanshawe Park Road West, at the district's south edge. Check LTC for routes and times.
Sir Arthur Currie Public School (TVDSB) on Buroak Drive and Saint André Bessette Catholic Secondary School (LDCSB) on Tokala Trail. Confirm the school for a specific address with each board.
